Open Question: false positive on blue dye +/- tests.?

I know that pink is better than blue, so please refrain from telling me this. I am thinking back to one of the tests I took about 2 months ago, because, as I've posted already, things are getting even weirder in my body. So, my test result came back looking like a thick light positive at first. That I thought was an evaporation line. By the end of the ten minutes the color had gotten very much darker, but it was also about half as thick as the control line. I also chopped that up as an evaporation line, but when I read about evaps recently they every tend to be light, grey, colorless, whathaveyou. So...then I started thinking about untrue positives. Because thats what everybody is telling me it was. Everybody says there is absolutely NO WAY I could be pregnant. (everybody except my bf) Have any of you experienced a untrue positive? Did it look like what I described? (Dark in color, but kinda on the skinny side) Mind you, when I thought logically about why it is less likely for me to be pregnant, I did believe it could not be true. So please, skip the "its in your head" spiel. Its been in my head this whole time that I wasn't. It wasn't until a few nights ago when I started feeling increased stronger movement that I started thinking that might not be gas. Especially when my bf tried to catch it and it moved away. I do have an ob/gyn appointment on Thursday, but I don't want to go in there sounding like a loon.

Open Question: Can anxiety and stress cause stomach symptoms such as Gas, bloating/fullness etc?

I have been stressed out and anxious over the last few months from worrying about my future, education etc and because of this i have been suffering from a number of symptoms, which include headaches (mainly tension one's), palpatations, chest pain etc, but even more recently (last week or 2) i have been getting a full/bloated feeling in my stomach, sometimes it happens after i eat and then it will disappear 30 mins - an hour later. I went to my doctor and he said it could be IBS, but he wasn't sure because i have been anxious as well, so it's difficult to tell. I would much prefer it to be stress related because i don't want to have IBS as i'm only 22 and won't be able to like life if that happens. Anyway, what do you think?

We moved into this property at the end of July and could not find a Gas Safety Cert so asked the letting agent about it who got onto the landlady only to find that there wasn't one. had 3 gas engineers since every saying that the boiler is at risk as the working pressure is to low from that at the meter and that I can't use it so have had no hot water or heating for 3 weeks now. Open Question: Advise on Newbie Learning to Drive?

I just had my 2nd practical lesson and got a question tat need ppl to help answer me. B4 moving off ur car, u will clutch in and shift to 1st gear and release handbrake; I was told by my instructor to release clutch abit and at the same time depress the gas pedal to start to move off. But whenever I release the clutch abit, my right foot will tend to follow to lift up abit instead of depress the gas pedal. So I read from some online articles tat they recommend to release clutch abit, then follow by depress the gas pedal. But is it ok to do so too? Thanks for reading my noob question.

Basically I know I should but I wanted to look what every of ya'll thought? I am almost 100% positive I have a bowel obstruction (blockage) whatever. The lower left side where its supposed to empty has ballooned up into a difficult mass and it is tender and hurts to touch. I've been having problems, but I don't know what to do about them. I increased my fiber 3 weeks ago from 0 to 70% and I had extremely bad gas to a point where I almost cried a few times but I was going okay. I slowly lowered it down to 25% but it didn't cease so I quit altogether and I did okay for a few days and now this. What nice of dr should I contact? My ob/gyn? I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I'm trying a stool softener today that I was told was safe with my last pregnancy. I just don't know what to do =/

I have a 2003 Kia rio with a little more than 100k on it. Never had any problems. My husband was driving it the other day and said it started acting like it was running out of gas (but had a full tank) he pulled over and close off the car and it hasn't cranked since. We towed it home and when trying to crank the car the lights, radio, etc. came on and it made a clicking sound. Now when trying to crank it does absolutely nothing. We haven't tried much yet besides jumping the vehicle off. It's been suggested it could be the timing belt, starter, or alternator. We can't afford to take it to receive it looked at... any idea at what it might be?

Open Question: Bed bound with Pelvic Girdle Pain! Help!?

I'm aged 30 and 21 weeks in to my first pregnancy. I've had what I thought was sciatica since I was 8 weeks pregnant. The pain got progressively worse until I was signed off work at 15 weeks and thereafter became excruciating. At 17 weeks they diagnosed Pelvic Girdle Pain (mine is in the Sacroiliac Joint at the back of the pelvis). I saw a Physiotherapist on the NHS which was helpful to an extent, but by that point I could barely walk. I was taking 30/500mg Co-Codamol every 6 hours to help with the pain but shortly after seeing the physio things got much worse. I couldn't snooze and I couldn't stand up or sit without screaming out in pain and the tablets just weren't touching me. Eventually my husband called an ambulance and I was taken to Accident and Emergency. There they gave me gas and air, pethidine and a load of other opiate drugs to try to receive my pain below control before they admitted me for a week. The hospital xrayed me (nothing broken), gave me an epidural of steroids and painkillers to try to help with the pain and otherwise just doped me up on drugs for the next week. Eventually they told me there was nothing else they could do for me and that they'd expect me to lie in a hospital bed for the next 19 weeks till the baby's born and then they would treat me. I discharged myself shortly after hearing this and came home with an armful of painkillers. Now I'm stuck again. My GP's been out to look me and says the same as the hospital. Basically I'm screwed. Soon it will be time to ween myself off these drugs and I'm terrified. Does anyone have any experience of this condition? What can I do now? Even anyone who has been bed bound - how did you cope? Please help me. I'm going out of my mind.

Open Question: Could you help me with this dream?

There was a part before this but it didn't seem important. The most important parts of it were: me wanting to put a blanket on a double train track to read a book but trains keep coming every time I tried. The trains always went in the same direction as each other (never against). I played in a shallow pond right beside the train tracks with a guy (as friends) as my ex and his family looked on. This is the end of the dream: I was in my car slowing down to steer over the double train track (same ones). I seen a car on the other side of the tracks swerve. I stopped my car and stared at the car. I thought it was going to hit me but instead it got back on its side and turned down a different road. I was about to go when I seen a train coming though it was coming in the opposite way it was suppose to. I noticed this but brushed it off. I was not sure if I was on or how close I was to the tracks so I put my car in reverse and backed up. For this point on I was only thinking about was my big sister (who's my sister in reality also). I ran off the road and was looking at the shallow pond. I couldn't make the car cease backing up so I just switched to steer but it wouldn't stick in steer so I held it there. The car started to go forward and I turned the wheel to receive back on the road but then the road turned to gravel and my car was being pushed by the rocks towards the lake. I panicked and pressed on the gas harder which made me start spinning but nice of slowly. I knew I was going into the lake at this point and I'm still thinking of my big sister, not any thought in particular just of her in general. The car goes into the pond I start freaking out. It was a shallow pond but the car was going to be submerged. As the water is pouring in I remember how I should not panic so I tried to relax, even though I knew I was going to die. I did not remember though if I should open the door or open the window. Pictures flashed in my head of my phone and of my big sister and of how I'm going to explain this to daddy, even though again I knew I was not going to make it. I imagined myself standing on top of the car screaming for help as I thought of which to use and still looked at a picture of my big sister in my head. I reached for the locks of the car but as I unlocked the car I woke up. I don't know if I chose the window or the door or if I lived, though I strongly felt during the dream that I died. A little side facts about me that might be helpful: -I really do have a big sister but its not just us. There are 2 others. -I am 18 about to be 19 next week -I am about to start college also next week -I was driving my car I have in reality and once it did refuse to stay in steer -After the dream, every I wanted was to be held by a guy. I did not care that I had possibly just died. Which I am guessing has something to do with the dream since my big sister recently got engaged and I have been single for a while now. Sorry for the length.

i have to take every kinds of backroads to receive around from place to place because i have to avoid hills and cease lights on the main road...no matter how much i rev it up on the start it will not start up any faster...on hills it doesnt even move. and when im driving on flat land changing gears, the car revs up wayy too high even if im just lightly tapping the gas.even in 5th gear it will "redline" and i know that should happen if im only going 40 or 50. i have no idea what could cause this, i really need help to fix this asap.thank you

Open Question: How do you handle fear of driving?

So i have a huge problem, im 18 and have absolutely no idea how to steer literally, I don't know the gas from the break. My other problem is that i have a gigantic fear of driving and that is why i have put off learning for so long. Long story short i got in a car accident when i was 16 and the car was completely crumbled, i believe this is the reason for my fear. Open Question: multiple problems with my 93 Saturn SL2 1.9L 4cyl DOHC Auto Tranny?

First off, some of these problems I'm gonna list is known to happen commonly with my type of car. 1) I am leaking oil out of my valve cover every around-Probably need a valve cover gasket but would like to know more 2)If the motor is icy, I usually have to put the gas pedal to the floor when I crank it. It acts like its flooded. As soon as it starts I look blue smoke coming out of the exhaust. After a few revs it goes away. The RPM is a little over 2,000 at every times which is a little high and goes back down to 1,000. 3)Rough idle in park. Very quick idle when in steer or Reverse. If I'm at a redlight, the motor acts like its gonna die. It died twice so far. It feels like I'm trying to hold back an animal from attacking something when I have the brake applied then it chokes itself out unless I put it in neutral. 4) Also, when the motor is warm/hot, it kicks like a mule when I put it in gear, ESPECIALLY reverse.

Open Question: LDR Girlfriend/EX HELP?

I haven't resorted to this in a while but WTH. So more or less my girlfriend and I are going through a rough patch. She seems to have commitment issues, and I think she is scared. We have been dating for about a year. I have seen a psychologist about my issues, and he has more or less told me the best way to protect myself in a relationship is to set up flags, such as it hurts me when you ignore me before hand and if someone loves you they wont step over those flags. Well here is my current situation: 1. My girlfriend and I are trying to work through being long distance on top of everything else 2. Things were going bad till we got to look eachother this weekend 3. This morning she told me she isn't sure if shes in adore with me 4. We had a great day today and she said she wasn't sure why she felt like that, but she was in adore with me. 5. When she was leaving I told her I was going to steer to her place next weekend to try and work on our issues more/hang out 6. She told me she didnt because we agreed every other weekend/gas (this slightly upset me) 7. She got home we talked online things seemed fine 8. She called me before she went to bed, and said she didnt want me to arrive up for a few reasons: Gas Shes wants to look her friends Shes going to a party on Sunday 9. The issue with this is the party is at her ex boyfriends home and I told her I wasn't comfortable with that ( I was being honest) given the current status of our relationship and the fact thats one of her reasons for me not coming up. 10. She tells me that its not right of me to say that 11. So I explain that im setting up a flag like I was told to 12. She tells me that im just trying to manipulate her and that shes going 13. Hi there, Please, I would like to know if the Thermal Conductivity of a liquefied gas increases or decreases when becomes a supercritical fluid. Also, I would like to know how is the relation between the molecular mass and thermal conductivity of a liquefied gas and a supercritical fluid, because in the gaseous phase, as higher the molecular mass, smaller seems to be the thermal conductivity value. when i let off the gas and using power windows. when i put it in 1st and hit the gas they dim down until i put it in steer. the alternator/battery was replaced in dec. thanks everything is factory on it. the terms are clean they arent super tight but they are pretty tight
